Being off of Facebook has really helped me focus on developing the relationships that I cherish, instead of keeping up with everyone-I-know's news. I am trying to be (and am forced to be) more intentional about emailing and texting to keep in contact with those I miss.
Many of the seminary students and their families went on a summer assignment. I did miss doing that, and it will be fun to hear about all the adventures they had when I see them again. I guess for the first time in my life I am getting the travel bug??? David and I for the ONLY time in our lives have the same Spring Break (his last Spring Break ever) and so we might have to do something fun overnight somewhere.
This summer, David did do better in his Greek. Thank you for praying. He is enrolled in second year Greek for the fall. He just has two Greek classes to go, and they are a semester long instead of three weeks this time. :) I can't believe, Lord-willing, that in May we will have a graduate on our hands!!!
In early June, we took a trip to Indianapolis and then Dale Hollow Lake in Southern Kentucky with my mom's folks. Here are some pictures of our trip:
